Grout Bonded Ties
Thorhelical grout bonded ties are used to re-connect and reinforce separating masonry layers. This versatile brick reinforcement is typically used to tie the perimeter wall of a structure to its cross walls, pin rubble filled walls or to stitch masonry arch layers in buildings, bridges and tunnels.
Polymer modified grout rout is pumped into long pre-formed holes. Stainless steel helical pins are then wound into the unset grout. Once set, the high strength grout interlocks with the peaks and troughs of the helix to bond the brick pins to the masonry.
